Multikultural Untuk Meningkatkan Toleransi Anak Sekolah Dasar Pada Era Digital

Background. Dalam dunia yang semakin terhubung, penting untuk mempromosikan kesadaran multikultural dan toleransi di kalangan peserta didik, khususnya dalam konteks lingkungan pembelajaran digital. Dengan semakin banyaknya akses ke platform daring, siswa menjadi lebih terbuka terhadap beragam budaya, nilai, dan perspektif. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk menilai efektivitas program pendidikan multikultural dalam meningkatkan toleransi di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar.
Purpose. Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki efektivitas program sosialisasi multikultural dalam meningkatkan toleransi di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar di era digital. Secara khusus, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara paparan siswa terhadap konten multikultural dan tingkat toleransi mereka, dengan mempertimbangkan variabel seperti literasi digital, paparan terhadap budaya yang berbeda melalui platform digital, serta sikap umum siswa terhadap keberagaman.
Method. Data dari kuesioner akan dianalisis menggunakan SmartPLS untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antar variabel ini dan dampaknya terhadap peningkatan toleransi. Model ini akan menguji efek langsung dan tidak langsung dari literasi digital dan paparan budaya terhadap tingkat toleransi siswa.
Results. Diharapkan temuan awal menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat literasi digital dan semakin banyak paparan terhadap konten multikultural akan berpengaruh positif terhadap toleransi siswa sekolah dasar. Secara khusus, penelitian ini menghipotesiskan bahwa siswa dengan literasi digital yang lebih tinggi akan lebih terbuka terhadap keberagaman budaya dan menunjukkan tingkat toleransi yang lebih tinggi terhadap teman sebaya yang berasal dari latar belakang yang berbeda.
Conclusion. Temuan dari penelitian ini akan memberikan implikasi yang signifikan terhadap praktik pendidikan, khususnya dalam pendidikan multikultural dan pembelajaran digital. Dengan memahami faktor-faktor yang dapat meningkatkan toleransi, pendidik dapat merancang strategi pengajaran yang lebih efektif untuk menumbuhkan inklusivitas dan rasa hormat terhadap keberagaman di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini juga akan memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan literatur tentang peran platform digital dalam mempromosikan nilai sosial seperti toleransi.
