DEVELOPMENT OF COLAKTRA TO IMPROVE STUDENT’S COGNITIVE ABILITIES IN PANCASILA EDUCATION
Downloads
Based on empirical studies, it is known that Pancasila Education learning is still conventional for students. The purpose of this study is to produce a gamification-based colaktra learning media product that has been tested for validity, effectiveness, and practicality. Due to the lack of interesting learning media and teachers who are only theoretical, innovative learning media is needed as a solution to these problems. The design of this study uses the development model from Borg & Gall. The subjects were grade VII students of SMPN 1 Prambon. The results of the study include: (1) colaktra products consisting of a modified folding congklak board for Pancasila Education learning activities, high cognitive level question cards (C4, C5, C6), instructions for use on the front of the board, QR codes connected to e-modules and e-comics; (2) validation tests by media experts and product materials were declared very feasible; (3) practicality tests from students and teachers were declared very practical; 4) Effectiveness tests with field trials with an average posttest of 90.3 and pre-test 65.8. According to the t-test results, the significance value obtained was 0.000. This value is smaller than the established significance limit of 0.050, thus indicating a significant increase between the pretest results (before using Colaktra) and the posttest (after using Colaktra).
